daverave
Have been fighting against red mite for a while. Thought I had got ride of them, but noticed that they are growing in the bedding! I use Easichick bedding which I believe is wood. Is there a mite resistant bedding that I could use?
The Dogmother
Try Aubiose, it is much more resistant Also, set up an extermination programme; scrub out and burn the bedding, spray the whole coop inside with Total Mite Kill pink (ready to use) spray, then powder with Buz Busters Louse powder. Repeat every 3 days until you have knocked them back and then revert to using those products for your weekly clean. You might benefit from using an Ivermectin-based preventative spot-on quarterly to prevent any ecto-parasites.
