Kaylesp Posted June 19, 2020 Share Posted June 19, 2020 We have 1 remaining ex battery hen, the other 2 hens have died leaving her alone. we got 3 leghorns recently, they have been introduced and at first Chicken (the ex bat) was very vocal and clearly unhappy with her new friends, she is less vocal but the 3 leghorns appear to be terrified of her, we have extended the run so they can get away from her. She does chase and peck them, but even if she moves, they all run in fear. is there anything else we can do to settle the new chicks in? Or will it just take time?
