Stevens2020
Had our new hens for 3 days & have kept the internal door of the Eglu closed at night to encourage them to roost in the roosting bars side. They picked up going to bed up the ladder of their own accord after one night, so quite bright! When should we start leaving the internal door open at night as well as during the day? They’re PoL, but not laying yet.
Cat tails
If you want to prevent them sleeping there, best to keep it closed. They don’t lay at night anyway.
