I just went out to shut it in the usual way - pull, turn, push back lever - and I could still see the light through the vent on the back panel so I knew it had not shut properly. I did it again and it shut fine. It was very dark and I only noticed it hadn't shut because I looked carefully, as it has happened before. This is the 3rd time it has happened. Also OH said the door appeared jammed when he went to open it the other morning and this happened to me a month or so ago. The door has always been stiff and the mechanism s"Ooops, word censored!"es away at the plastic a bit inside, as there are curls of purple plastic coming out. Has this happened to anyone else? I have an early cube and I think it has quite a few glitches, which I have tolerated, but I don't feel I can overlook this one. What do I do?? Do I ask for a new cube?? Hi When we first bought our cube we had lots of daylight gaps in it and the door turner was rubbing against the outside plastic. We contacted Omlet who were very apologetic and sent a technician out with some spare parts to fix the problem. No was too much trouble for them.
