sparkleeeeee
ohhhh how lovely my parents used to breed golden retrevers and we used to have 13 adults at home living in the house. now sadly they are all old and are slowly reducing in numbers. i used to have a fox red lab and a weimaraner. they were both lovely dogs and i used to walk them for at least 3 hrs a day. i used to teach at a school a few minutes away from my house and we didnt have children then. they were great running partners. i would love another dog now but hubbie is not keen. its the dog poo in the garden with toddlers that puts me off the idea at the moment. when they are older it would be different but then i will be back at work at until i know where i will be working etc. it wouldnt be fair to leave them. also after being badly bitten and scared as a teenager by my step-mums dog i am also wary of children and dogs i would certainly never leave them in a room together on their own. walks in the woods would certainly be more exciting with a dog though but walking back holding two hands and a dog lead with a puppy on the end might be a bit to much.
