TESSANN
Hi there, My 2 year old Khaki Campbell has stopped laying. She has been a wonderful layer, laying every day. However, over recent months she has sometimes not laid, and then sometimes soft shelled, and now not laying at all. Is this normal for a Khaki Campbell? Also how long do they live? Hope you can help Best wishes
Lesley
I don't really have any answers - but is she still bright and alert? - eating well? Ours only stops laying when she's sitting on eggs - but she's only just coming up to 2 years old.
TESSANN
Hi there, She is fine in herself. She is moulting, so that may be the reason why she has stopped laying. Thanks for the reply
Lesley
I thought I'd put moulting? in my previous post - I can see I didn't I'm sure that is what it will be then, You could put Apple Cider Vinegar in some drinking water which helps with the moult. It would need to be a drinker which they can't try to swim in though
