KateP Posted October 23, 2007 Share Posted October 23, 2007 I got home from work today and when I checked on the girls Donnatella (pepperpot) had laid her first egg! It was on the roosting bars rather than in the nesting box but I'm sure she will learn. I'm so proud of her! It is 45g - is that around average? I though Roxanne (gingernut) would be first as she looked older when they arrived but in the last couple of weeks Donna has had a growth spurt. Although I thought OH was playing a trick on me at first - I expected to pick it up and see a lion mark stamped on it! Well done to your Dot too!
