jennifer
Hi all, We have two Gingernuts who once they started laying had been very productive. Over the last 3 weeks one of hens has stopped laying, we're not sure which one it is, however when we open the door to the roost Squak goes staright foir thefood whilst Bubbles is not really bothered and just does nothing. Any reason why one has stopped laying, having read some posts it seems they stop laying when they are moulting, but we have no signs of that. Any reason why she has stopped? Will she start again? Thanks Jennifer
Egluntyne
Could be the shorter days. Is she having too many treats?
theherd123
The egg production usually slows down in the winter so it could be that. Otherwise does she appear ok? Is her crop full at the end of each day? Is she drinking throughout the day? Sorry for all the questions but it may help is she is under the weather
