Couperman
Our lovely ladies seem to have developed a nasty habit of feather plucking and trying to eat each other. They are all fitted with bumper bit muzzles which seem to reduce the damage but they are still managing to score some nasty hits. We now have had to patch up three different chooks due to bleeding before the full on Hennibal Lector thing ensued. Two of them are high in the pecking order too! There is no serious damage it's just worrying that if it happens whilst we are at work there could be a bloodbath. I was thinking that there might be some dietry reason for this behaviour. Has anyone heard of this? Kev.
