GemmaJ
I have fine hens. For months I’ve been getting four eggs a day. For the last two days there have been six eggs in the morning. How is that possible?!?!
Beantree
We've had a few hens laying two eggs in a day, but one was always soft shelled and it was every other day. Presumably these are youngsters (pullets) whose egg laying hasn't stabilised yet? Sure it is possible, because I have read posts on the same subject before, but it is rare and we haven't experienced it.
