Ladylucan
Well today i had to say goodbye to my Poland Cockerals, I had raised them from an egg... , but after cringing everytime they crowed in the morning, desperately had to find another home for them, So today they went off to Christmas Tree Farm in Bromley where they run a animal santuary which is open to the public all year round, . they took my last lot of boys who are doing really well, so i know they will be looked after, I had loads of offers to use them as food, but after raising them, i just couldnt do it, mind you i couldnt do it anyway . Lovemychooks
I know it's sad but at least you know they're going to be looked after and not used for dinner.
Guest
good on you, you've done them proud when one thinks what happens to most cokerels. They'll be very happy in their new home.
