Storms and chickens

I've just braved the rain to lock the eglu door & Alexander has left the eggport door open all day since he collected the eggs for me this morning

The shredded paper in the nest was wet, & the roosting bars looked like they had been to Glastonbury, but it's so dark, wet & cold now & I am not feeling 100% & don't have it in me to try & dry things out, so do you think my girls will be ok until morning? They have been in the run all day under the winter shade, so they should have been dry then, it's just the thought of them going to sleep in a damp bedroom.

They'll be fine Jules, just leave the door open so that there's plenty of air circulating to dry it out. It's not cold tonight so they'll be fine.
