Cinnamon
Hi Briony. Our Hamster, the amazing Maisie, died this week. She was nearly 2 & in her last few days her heart was going like the clappers, she was breathing very fast & she was just laying still.Very sad,but we figured her time had come & a trip to the vets would have been unproductive. She fluttered off after a couple of days of this & we were happy to have kept her stress free in her last few days. She also got thin, especially around her tummy & hips. They only live a couple of years at the most, these little things. I do hope your hamster perks up soon.Make sure he/she has plenty of water near by & is kept in a nice quiet spot
nicki9
Ours, Millie was the same 3 weeks ago, make sure she has plenty of water and keep her food nearby, as long as she seems happy in herself, just let her enjoy her old age for as long as she lasts. good luck
