robskyd
After reading about porridge on this forum we decided to give our girls a warm treat. Well, it ws Ready Brek to be honest but its all the same!! The next day all 3 eggs we get were about 50% larger than normal. I've no idea what it did to them but the results speak for themselves! Tessa the Duchess
I've been feeding my girls porridge for months, it is their fave food. My eggs haven't suddenly grown bigger Although the more they lay, the eggs have been getting gradually bigger Tessa
Guest
we were just talking about our eggs being bigger than normal and they're laying 4 a day again (between them obviously! ) They'd started to tail off on the production front. It seemed to coincide with us starting to give them mixed corn. They only get it in the afternoon as a treat. Ours don't like porridge. I don't want the eggs to get too big though as I'd be concerned for their lady parts
