maxhen
That sounds nice...... (I'll try not to be too scarey then...... ) The dogs only love me because I smell so interesting in a doggy kind of way I hasten to add. I smell even better tonight as I went to my field at the livery yard with the hounds and ended up cuddling some of the orphan lambs and bottle feeding one that is a little poorly. So lamb poo and bottle milk are added to the usual mix.......
The Dogmother
Ooo,little lambs, good job I didn't see them
maxhen
They are sooooo sweet. The orphans charge across their pen making high pitched baa noises and wriggling their ears. One being cuddled yesterday (it is becoming a habit and I only just fit in some agility training..... ) had this little toothy grin on her face...... The ewes that were last years lambs have not forgotten what the bottles hold either - they were quite outraged that I was taking away one with a tiny drop left in it that poorly lamb did not want... The Dogmother
oh Helen. We try to go an feed the orphan lambs when we go to Norfolk in the spring, I never whether to laugh at their antics, or cry because they set my mothering hormones off Phil goes and says 'put the lamb down, turn round and walk away...' Having said that he finds them as cute as I do!
Mel (& Paul)
I'm with you there Helen - dont really do perfume. More a kind of eau de dog/chicken poo/powdered garlic/liver cake/river When I was tiny weeny (and I'm not much taller now - note I say taller not bigger ) my parents had two orphaned lambs to look after - flopsy and mopsy. I remember them clearly - and then they went away - to a lamb farm if I remember what my parents told me
