Leicester_H
There are mixed messages on this. On http://www.omlet.co.uk/products_services/products_services.php?view=Chickens&about=pricing they say Foxproof run but in other places http://www.omlet.co.uk/products_services/products_services.php?view=Chickens&about=the%20run The unique tunnel-proof panels have been proven in rigorous testing to be fox and badger resistant I guess it depends how its installed/located. My run is now screwed down onto decking (so no tunnelling) with LOTS of clips holding it together, so I would bet money on it being fox PROOF - but I wouldn't bet my girls lives on it !! little chickadee
I wondered this when I first got my cube too. It sounds like you've done the right thing securing the run to the ground. Omlet sells special pegs for doing this on grass too. The Eglu/ cube is Fox Proof, but the run is fox resistant, although I've never heard of a fox being able to get into the run. I think someone had a fox bite through one of the plastic clips once.
