Janty Posted February 14, 2008 Share Posted February 14, 2008 We think that Scary Spice has laid her first egg today. I say think because I caught her on the nesting box earlier today but then I saw another hen get in with her and she came out. About half an hour later there was an egg in the middle of the lawn (or what is left of it). Buffie the brahma is also very red in the face and she is also crouching but I am inclined to think that it is the work of Scary as I saw her in the nesting box.
