hilda-and-evadne
Looking at the rain bucketing down outside now, I must say that it is so reassuring to know that the hens are snug and dry as well as safe from predators.
crazygal
I totally agree. It was pelting down here earlier, I went outside and just stood next to the eglu thinking that my chickens were all nice and cosy tucked up for the night, and I wondered if they could hear the rain beating down on their shower curtain cover!! I was also thinking oh goody my rain butt will be filling up a bit.
chelsea
I love it after I've cleaned the eglus and run and then they roost for the evening, all clean and fresh. Just like the "clean sheets" syndrome with me.... I LOVE clean sheets on the bed. My chickens happy = me happy
TAJ
I have been thinking just the opposite - I came home after a night away to three lovely clean & dry hens - let them out to free-range this afternoon and they stayed out as it poured (happy though) and went into the eglu for bed all wet - I'm hoping they dry out overnight.
