Lone Ranger
I've just been sitting here for the last 20 minutes watching the girls through the patio door - they are totally transfixed by their own reflections in the galss , and keep trying to have a gentle peck the 'other' chicken they can see ... really sweet. I suppose I'll have to get back to work at some point - but they are a great way of relaxing and sure can help you waste time away !

Helen&Lee
i get mine on sunday and cant wait, i am catching up with all those little jobs now that i KNOW i wont want to do next week Very wise Getting up even earlier than the ungodly hour we do wasn't a problem those first few weeks - my main problem was when locking the door to leave for work I would then leave the keys in the door! Fortunately, we live in a little hamlet, so all was safe... Helen
Clarabelle
I've just been sitting here for the last 20 minutes watching the girls through the patio door...I suppose I'll have to get back to work at some point - but they are a great way of relaxing and sure can help you waste time away ! We only got ours yesterday and my son has obliged by having a sleep this afternoon so I can watch them! He never sleeps during the day, so I think all the excitement has been too much It's so windy today and they keep getting really ruffled feathers. I've seen them both trying to s"Ooops, word censored!"e the ground and dust bathe, bless em! I can see that I'm not going to get much housework done this week.....shame that! RubyMurray
Hi there, I gave mine an old CD hung up on some string. The hens weren't wothered at all but my very friendly and quiet cockerel 'Bert' was facinated but them, he just stood there really quiet for ages looking at his reflection . I also chopped alot of branches off my pear tree and stuck them in the run too, they spent ages picking them to bits and climbing on them. Very cheap toys indeed. Regards, Dyan, Bert Doris, Hilda, Mini, Winky & Brenda, Ruby, Gladys, Joan & Rose Fred, Gabriella, Fleur Alicia & Ginny Casper the white Boxer dog and Wilbo the ginger tomcat + 3 mad kids and 1 crazy hubby!!
