A public thank you to...

Goosey Lucy who very kindly made me a DVD of all 3 Hugh's Chicken Run programmes, we watched the re-runs on Saturday afternoons

 

I never saw the original airing so was a bit surprised when you actually see them kill the young chicks.

 

Another forum I use has the ability to give members Good (or Bad) reputations, so thought it should be known what a helpful lady Lucy is.

We are not a bad bunch on here really :wink: Not sure if i like the sound of being judged if we are good or bad :anxious: Not that i have anything to hide :oops:

I have to confess that the only bit I saw was the trailer with Hugh getting upset and saying he didn't think he could kill any more chicks that day. I don't blame him - it sounded awful!

Eglantine is a wild brier rose, which produced rose hips.

 

I just changed the "a" to a "u" for a witty play on the word "Eglu". :lol:

 

Someone on the forum pointed out recently that Eglantyne Jebb founded the Save the Childen Fund.

 

I kind of wish I'd spelled it Egluntyne though. Too late now.
