Also puzzle solved; We have been getting shiny blue eggs and matt blue eggs and didn't know which hen layed them. Today I found Hermione on the nest and the egg was still wet . . . . she lays the matt blue eggs!!!! I am so pleased, I love knowing who layed all our eggs! I can't believe there's a choice of blue eggs , do you think the farmer will be impressed if I ask for a matt blue layer? .
