mayflower
I did'nt expect this but today, after only collecting them last night, our hens laid 3 eggs. 2 in the nest box in the morning and one in the run later in the afternoon. The first egg was brown with dark speckles and weighed 3 ounzes!

AMO
You may find they go off laying for a couple of days while they settle in their new home. Enjoy them!
Shirl
Mine laid for the first 2 weeks and then stopped for 2 months. They started laying once they were fully feathered again. My friends collected from the same rescue didn't start for another 2 months after mine. But they are all different and some are in better condition than others so you'll just have to wait and see..
