happy normal behaviour

Recommended Posts

Well, after a couple of tense days in the henhouse, all 5 hens are displaying normal behaviour today. After a hiccup with Annie yesterday when, she was showing signs of lethargy and head twitching, she, like the others have spent a good couple of hours dust bathing in the sunshine. I also feel happier after adding Poultry Lifeguard into their water. The dose is for chickens in poor condition and it's packed with Vits and minerals.

They enjoy being stroked and do not protest when I pick them up. I'm so glad I have 2 weeks off from work to care for their rehab and help them on their way to become healthy happy hens. Their droppings are normal and egg production is good, so lots of boiled eggs for breakfast.....so I guess we too are becoming healther!!
