BarbaraJ
As i have mentioned before mine don't really eat much other than their meal yet (not laying so not worried). They love raisins and thats about it. Friend of mine owns a fishing tackle shop and said try them with maggots, well he gave me a small bag full rather than loads at first to see if they like them wow they went nuts for them. Think its good that they have something moving to scratch for. can they have too many, should i give them only once a week say?

chelsea
sorry Barbara but i've never had experience of maggots (I have a bit of a phobia with them ) Once a week as a treat shouldnt hurt, I wouldnt give them loads tho.

Egluntyne
They love them....to many will give them the squits though (voice of experience speaking! ) It is probably best to give them the undyed ones.
