Rust on metal parts of Run and Cube

My run is rusting away , most of the brackets are nearly gone anything steel is rusting , when I look under the cube I can see rust on the steel parts of the cube. I did try rust proofing paint but that is failing now.

I bought it in 2020, it started rusting after about 2 years.

 I am buying a new run for my cube, is there any recommendation to rust proof the metal when I put the new run on.
