TAJ
My girls are still laying a few double yokers each week - have saved 3 for Easter Sunday breakfast - they only started laying just over a month ago and looking for eggs is still such joy. BarbaraJ
Sorry if daft question but if you havent cracked them how do you know they are double yokers?
TAJ
'normal' eggs from my girls are around 58g - everyone that we have had around 80g has been a double yoker - so based on the size of these eggs I guess it is an assumption, but we seem to get 3-4 a week like this and all have been double yokers so far. It might be a big disappointment for someone on Easter Sunday if there is the exception Tracy
Egluntyne
Mine don't lay double yolkers any more but when they did I noticed an almost imperceptible "waist" like indentation around the middle of the egg.
