Tiggy
I managed to find the battery farm yesterday but they had cleared the last shed 2 weeks ago & she would not let me buy a couple from her other shed they are due to go in June. so it looks like I'll need to order 2 from omlet unless you guys have any other ideas? I think I've missed the local BHWT rescue and I don't want Saffy to stay on her own for much longer
Tessa the Duchess
Somebody posted about another organisation that re-homes battery hens, I think it was called 'Free At Last' somebody correct me if I'm wrong, you could try them. Guest
do you have any free range farms near you as they usually get rid of their hens after about 18 months too?
