crazychicken
Hey everybody! Got a question hope you can answer. We got our new chickens in the 22nd of march. One speckedly and two Bovans Nera . There is quite a big size difference with the two Bovans Nera. Should we be worried? The small one seems healthy and is eating well. We are wondering whether it may be another chicken being greedy?! Any advise gratefully received. Thank you, Crazy chicken.
superjules
They all develop at different rates. As long as you are sure she's got access to food at all times during the day and isn't getting bullied, I wouldn't worry. She'll catch up, I'm sure. Egluntyne
They tend to be hefty girls, but there can still be a bit of a size difference between them. The smaller one might be a tiny bit younger, or might just be naturally daintier. As long as she is eating and drinking and bobbing about, there is probably nothing to worry about.
