shaky
I've had my 3 girls nearly 4 weeks now, they're lovely and have made my day tonight by all 3 using the roost in my homemade coop and not the nestbox!!! I have Delilah, (pure white amber star), Ruby (lovely red), and Leona (Sussex black). Kids named them! I would really like another and have seen a lovey mendlesham blue......will my girls accept another one, I thought it may be easier now rather than later.??????? Any advice appreciated. superjules
You should really introduce new birds in 2s, it's not advisable to introduce one on it's own as it is likely to get bullied and it can get really nasty.
moomin
Shaky Definitely get atleast two more. Read the posts about bullying on this forum. All the bloodshed is horrifying
superjules
Read this about adding one hen: http://club.omlet.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21575
Egluntyne
I agree about adding two. It dilutes any unwanted attention, and if the two are from the same "flock" they will stick together.
