Chickvic
I was wondering does anyone have their chickens insured? I have three cats which are insured and wondered if it was worth getting the girls insured?
Christian
I'm sure this was discussed a while ago and it was extremely expensive. Something like £25 a month in premiums

Egluntyne
It was looked at, Christian is right....and the premiums were ridiculous because unbelievably, chickens were listed as "exotics". You would be better off putting an amount aside every month and using that if anything cropped up. If it was in a high interest account....even better! Guest
we were quoted £12 a month for our original 4 girls. Can't remember which company. It didn't cover more common ailments such as egg binding either! We have been putting £12 a month into a savings a/c instead and will use it to cover any vets bills. Hopefully we won't need it.
