Guest
I may go for a cream kettle, as I suppose it means I could decorate the kitchen, without fear of clashing! Although the girlie in me RREALLY wants a pink one!
motherhen
go for it - get a pink kettle Most colours can be made to fit into a colour scheme with a bit of tweaking. If you go for pastal pink rather than eglu pink, it should go with most colours

Guest
Not sure Chookiehubbie would be up for a pink kitchen, which is a shame because the shop selling the pink kettle also sell a large variety of pink breadbins, storage tins, knife blocks etc! Louise
I had an almost pink Kitchen once Shona. I had very pale pink marbling in the tiles with a similar very pale shade in the painted woodwork (outside door etc) and the units were light wood and the worktop was called terracotta but it was a kind of dusky pink colour and was marble effect I teamed this all up with a dusky green colour for all my kitchen bits my bin and washing up bowl etc it was really lovely and the only in your face pink was the worktop and it really did look fab Go on you know you want to

Louise
I am the same Linda I went a bit petulant when I got divorced and decided bright is best so the majority of the house is done out with in your face colour apart from the living room as I can't afford a new suite (yet ) Oh and I am never ever having stripey wallpaper in my house again *sticks out lip in a petulant fashion*
AnnieP
Bold colours are great. Our lounge used to be red. Now its chocolate! It 's YUMMY!! Bedroom aubergine, bathroom bright blue and dark blue 12 inch painted stripes (sorry Louise). It all looks so dramatic. I love it!

Louise
Its okay Annie but my ex used to have stripy wallpaper everywhere and it was always beige or something My bedroom is lilac, one of the spare rooms is called blueberry it is a combination of purple and blue and fab The other spare room is bright yellow and the dining room is orange (sorry Lesley ) The hallways are a sort of creamy colour so it doesn't seem too much and the living room is a soft green (for now )
Linda
Jane, I totally agree with you. My theory goes that men who can cope with pink are just so totally secure in their masculinity, they don't feel threatened by it!
AnnieP
My OH has at least 4 pink shirts... But then he has over 50 anyway, in nearly all colours! Bit of a shirtaholic....like shoes I guess Favourite at present seems to be purple.
