What to do with a softie?

Recommended Posts

Late yesterday evening someone layed a soft shelled egg( strange as we'd already had an egg from each girl that morning). The egg is in tact, but the shell all soft and squashy. I've opened it and the egg inside is normal. Would it be ok to cook it up and feed it back to the chooks, or is this wrong to feed them egg?

I only found it when I went to shut them in for the night. Laid in the nest and then ignored by everyone.

Still don't know who laid it , waiting to see who doesn't lay today. Having said that my snowbell seems off colour this morning so i'm thinking it may have been her.

If its ok to give egg they can have that this afternoon, I have no doubt they'll love it.
