Trixabell
....like tiny little blood clot type specks??? I've had them in every egg thats been laid, i just spoon them out as they are cooking and we have all been fine after eating the eggs, just wondered if anyone knew why this was and if it can be prevented?? ajm200
I think blood spots are normal in eggs. I've seen lots of eggs like that before
TAJ
Apparently it is small amounts of blood getting in as it passes through the chickens system - a number of chicken books mention it and they all say it is totally harmless. Tracy
