Lottie laid her first egg on Friday, Hattie on Saturday - the waiting and anticipation of checking the nestbox was similar to how I felt when expecting my kids ! I have taken several photos of the first eggs, Lotties' was a lovely tiny speckled one - looked like a cadburys' mini egg hatties' was round , looked like a ping pong ball ! both very small, but perfect.
