Mac's , do you use them?

I'm not saying that Vista doesn't have it's faults...

It's certainly not my operating system of choice!

But I was comparing PC's to Mac's, not operating system versions...

I'm a computer engineer.

point is if you can only afford 1, then a PC is probably the best option.

Software is more widely available and it's more upgradeable

I do miss the range of software for pc's and I have to agree with you on price, perfect if you can only afford one.

I know, I just thought the picture was funny (and true)

Ok, as there are clearly many experienced Mac users and techies reading this thread, I am going to be cheeky and ask for some help.

Would somebody tell me how I can stop the Keychain Password box popping up annoyingly every five minutes. I don't have a keychain as far as I know, and I certainly don't have a password for it  so I just click cancel and it goes away.... and then reappears 5 minutes later complete with the stupid revolving beachball thingy. Any help would be gratefully received.

There is a easy fix to your problem :D

Use spotlight to find an application called "Keychain Access" Click on it.

Once open, go to preferences by clicking on "keychain Access" on the top bar, then selecting preferences. Then press "reset my keychain" The box should come up when you open Safari, enter you user password, and make sure you check "add this to my keychain"

It sound's like you have accidentally deleted it

Open your main hard drive and go to applications. Then find i-chat and click and drag it back to the dock at the bottom of the screen positioning it wherever you want - hey presto that should work

edited to say that if you click and drag something off the dock it will delete it from there and you will need to do what I have suggested above to reinstate it.
