SLK69
more madness - yip I rock mine, they have been very tame since the first and now happily sit on my knee and will stay cuddled in even when there is no firm hold, they seem to like the warmth or smell - and definetly like their necks stroked, especially 'Precious' top chicken. Who is now too confident by half she walked straight into the house today and through into the kids play room - no more just sticking a tentaive head in the door. made me laugh, but OH would not be impressed at all. guffaw. . . . what you don't know you can't worry about is what I say ! must swear kids to secrecy. Trixabell
I haven't even thought about rocking them, must try that with Gwyn, she is the most docile of the three and doesnt mind sitting in my arms for a while!

The Dogmother
On my Hen Parties, we have a session where we all have a chicken to hold (if I can catch that many ) and I go through basic physiology and show them how to inspect a chook; it's amazing how many of them do that 'newborn swaying thing'... and it's not just the women either! chili pepper
Everything Scrunchee said I rock everything too - I dont know that I'm doing it either. My cat loves being rocked ever since she was a kitten. I still rock my 19 year old daughter when we stand and have a cuddle
sihill
I have Buffy, Willow and Cordelia too! Buffy loves a cuddle, he is cuddled into my neck as I type (but as a boy I worry he doesn't have a very masculine name)!
