SLK69
Has any one tried this? A friend of my mums gave me this top tip today regarding reseeding my lawn - He said mix grass seed with damp compost and leave in warm place to sprout the scatter on bald bids. Assured me the chooks won't eat sprouted seed - am not so sure but going to give it a try. Not too bothered about trashed garden - but having out door party soon for dear daughter with bouncy castle. not sure other peoples children and chicken poo mix ? Egluntyne
I don't know about sprouted grass seed, I've never tried them with it, but they absolutely love other sprouted seeds such as mung beans. There is only one way to find out! Let us know how you get on.
Stevie
Personally-i'd buy a single roll of turf from garden centre/DIY shed and cut/remove any bald bits out of your lawn out then cut a new section of turf to fit.The seed route will take weeks to fix while turf achieves same result in minutes!
