Chuckov
After what seems like an interminable wait, we are now officially a two egg household! Maybe Ginger can read, as I'd just changed my profile calling her a freeloader and went downstairs to find her egg! Ginger was really off colour yesterday, drooping about like a wilted pansy, so we suspected something was up. Today, she tried to roost on the barbecue at 11am just like Nutmeg does when she wants to lay - and after lunch she snuck under the barbecue cover, and when I fetched her out there was a lovely 60g egg, with a little dent in it where it had obviously landed on the concrete Just as well there was an egg, we were thinking she needed a trip to the vets!! All I need to do now is persuade her to lay in the nesting box like Nutmeg does!

Fur 'n' Feathers
All I need to do now is persuade her to lay in the nesting box like Nutmeg does! Our first egg came today... on the lawn in the middle of the run We've placed a wooden egg in the nest box for tonight so they see it & perhaps get the idea Will take it out when we open up tomorrow.
