Phosphorus
Roast laid an egg on Sunday. Haven't seen anymore since. She laid that in the nesting box of the Cube - very clever girl so she hopefully won't lay any in the run. Should I expect one today - can they go several days without laying once they begin. She is a Black Rock - only about 19 weeks but she is huge now and comb is a wonderful scarlet red I so want a second so that I don't feel guilty about eating the first - the tiny thing is still sitting in my egg skelter
Mutrix Farmers
congratulations Roast! Once mine started they have each laid an egg every day, but they were all 22 weeks old. Still waiting for my egg skelter!!
Phosphorus
She is still quite young I think - I was told they were all 18 weeks old, but she has grown huge over the last week and a bit. Was really surprised that she laid on Sunday at all. Will keep checking to see if she has gone into the Cube I think she is just trying to wind me up now
..lay a little egg for me
My black rock has laid almost every day since starting about 10 days ago. She only missed 1 day a couple of days ago. The speckledy is much more erratic. She laid about 3 days in a row, had a rest, laid a biggy, had a rest, laid every other day, missed a couple of days, laid every other day... Am still waiting for the other two to get going.
