Is it ok for hens to eat it? My son was giving it to them as a treat when he got home from school without me knowing!!and they were going mad for it! took it off him straight away cause was not sure if it was ok for them. It grows like mad in our garden so would be a bonus if it was good for them

They are supposed to be toxic to hens but mine have shredded my rhubarb plants and are abslutely fine. They did the same last year too. All I have are stalks!!

 

Same here :lol: I think I read somewhere that rhubarb leaves contain a natural worming agent for chickens :? but please don't quote me on it as I may be having a senior moment (was going to put blonde but didn't want to offend anyone :wink: )
