I am now down to 3 broody's :roll:

 

Doris was broody for about 4 - 5 weeks :shock: The last week I think she lingered because the other 3 went broody the same day and she liked the company :lol:

 

She was really thin by the end - I made sure I threw her out of the nesting box twice a day and gave her corn and porridge with vitamin suppliments and tuna in.

 

They have all stopped laying since going broody.

 

I have tried ice blocks, dunking and shut them out all day - so much so it was almost completely dark last night before I remembered - 7 chooks balancing on the cube ladder :roll::oops:

 

So the next thing is the crate which OH keeps promising to do :evil:
