Ukadex and white bantams

Recommended Posts

Just received my ukadex today. However, all the instructions were foreign so I rang Terry at Regency to find out what to do with it and ended up having a good chat with him.

Anyway, glad I spoke to him as he happened to mention that the spray is brown. My littlies are white. Great eh?

I would really like the ex battery girls and the littlies to live harmoniously together in the cube so the question is, do I turn my white littlies into brown littlies for the sake of peace and intergration? What would you do?

All comments welcome :D

Oh not nice :(

I've read a few suggestions from others that an anti pecking bit on the bully works a treat. Dont know how they fit on or how difficult it is but I'm sure someone will come along soon with more ideas.

oh the poor girl (not sure if I mean the hen or you Laura  ).

I think I'm just going to have to do it aren't I.

I was put off mostly because Terry said they'd stay brown until they moulted which could be six months

That was not the case with Gucci - I had to spray all of her rear end and the front of her neck. Last time I sprayed her was the end of March, her neck is back to white again and there are now just one or two of the bigger feathers near her tail still tinged brown.

She still has small bald patch though

The Ukadex has worked for me after a year of bumper bits - now Prada no longer has to wear one and there's no more feathers being pulled. Well worth the colour change for a while

Thanks everyone, you have helped me make up my mind.

I have decided to don the gas mask and go for it!

Will do it at the weekend though when I can be around to make sure all is well when they all go in together.

Here's hoping for peace
