Hello all

 

My ex-bat girls are in a large run, with a mostly earth floor. I know about the horse bedding stuff (will try and get some), but I have four bags of bark chipping left over from someting else. Would this be OK on the floor??

When i was setting up i was advised against bark as it could harbour mould so iwent for wood chip in the area of my run with no roof and aubiose in the covered end.

I haven't used bark myself (just grass and move the run, or Auboise in winter). Auboise is great stuff (if kept dry, ie. under a cover of some sort).

Omlet guide shows the use of wood chippings but it does say can use bark but it goes "mulchy" quicker. See this below.
