Ammonia smell in coop-first time owner

One of my skylines, Yoda, started laying about three weeks ago. I was thrilled because she was my first Skyline to come into lay and her eggs were a minty-looking, pale green colour. Her buddy Yaddle started laying a week later and her eggs are an olive green colour, so I was extra chuffed because they were different shades.

 

Today, someone looked at my skelter and asked which chook lays blue eggs and now I've looked at them properly, I've noticed that since she started laying, Yoda's eggs have changed slightly in colour. They are now definitely more blue-tinted than green.

 

Has anybody else had this happen? Are they likely to change back again?

Yes . Maisie's eggs started out sludgey olive green, now they're a much nicer soft green!

I really like Yaddle's "farrow and ball" olive green ones. I hope they don't change too!

My Ruby started out laying a more greeny egg, but they have also gone a bit more bluey. Now both Ruby and Bambi lay blue eggs - same shade as your Yoda's are now. I only know who laid as Rubys are always shiny with a pointy end and Bambi's are matt with a k"Ooops, word censored!"bly end !

They are lovely. I'm really jealous all mine are normal brown layers, with the occasional pale hue.
