chocchick
We got a knock on our door from our neighbour, who said "is this yours?" This turned out to be Katy who she was holding She looked a bit subdued and had been eating next door's plants I'm amazed the neighbour caught her When I peeped out and didn't see her I thought she was on the nest

little chickadee
Great you got her back Our neighbour looked very shocked the other month when I knocked on the door and asked if he could have a look to see if there were any chickens in his garden! Sure enough all 3 were - thankfully he's lovely and it was a hole in his fence anyway If it had been the neighbours next to him ,and they had got their plants.......... well that would have been a completely different matter! chocchick
The neighbour's allergic to eggs I think she was OK with it happening once and seems to like the hens in general. I was just surprised she turned up holding the hen (walked round terraced houses and along the street to our front door). Katy has been perching on the hedge between gardens recently but until now has always come back down. Need to stamp down on it now. Abbie was not happy by her return and wrestled her to the ground and pecked her I think she had decided that Katy had moved out
Battys
My 14 yr old climbed over our (very nice) neighbour's fence and was rootling around in the bushes searching for Ruby our Wyandotte when she realised the neighbour - who was trying to sell her house, was looking out of the window with a potential buyer. Ooops.
