sootem
OH ran into the house this afternoon to tell me that French was eating something long and silver - like a silver worm. I can only think it was a piece of silver lametta blown from old christmas tree. OH thinks she ate it - and I am now worried sick. Snowy
Don't worry, it will probably pass right through
sootem
I hope so but after reading the Health section about impacted crops etc I'm really worried.
Snowy
I think if she had eaten a lot it could become tangled and form a ball in her crop, but one piece won't have much effect. I've known them eat polystyrene and all sorts of rubbish. Just keep an eye on her, check her poos and if you are worried that she looks off colour, pop her along to the vets. Egluntyne
Snowy's advice is spot on as always. There will be a gliterry poo tomorrow I dare say.
BeckyBoo
Sparkly poo!! Ours ate a hair band once, I never found it but it didn't seem to do them much harm. She'll be fine fingers crossed Mrs B
