Here's Nick (Ballgunner's) Tuna Pie Recipe

just thought i would add this recipe for tuna pie as its so simple and a real favourite at home.

just peel and slice some potatoes so they are about 1cm thick, boil them until just cooked in salted water.

then take some tinned tuna (i think in oil tastes better) drain, put into an oven dish, drain and add the cooked potato on top, pour some cheese sauce onto this. (i use a packet mix that makes 1 pint if using 2 big tins of tuna). then grate some nice mature cheddar cheese and add onto the top of the pie.

put into a hot oven (about 180c) for 30mins or until cheese has gone nice and brown on top.

see, i said it was easy - please try it as its really lovley and simple to make. we usually have this with sweetcorn.

please let me know what you think.

tks nick :lol

I make a Tuna Bake

Make a white sauce, add cheese if you like.

Stir in two cans of drained tuna (broken up)

Stir in a can of sweetcorn (optional)

Put in a casserole and add a crumble topping. Sprinkle grated cheese over and bake in oven, probably gas mark 5, for 30 minutes.

Serve with vegetables.

Really easy and very filling!
