meezers
Title says it all really. I popped out of the kitchen to fetch the chooks some more pellets, when I came back in , Lottie, Margo ,Elsie and Hattie were all stood in the kitchen, nothing new there ! looking out the window I spyed the dogs in the chicken run 'hoovering' ( you can guess what ) so I called them sharply, and they came bounding in - which of course set the chooks flapping and jumping , Lottie jumped up onto the worktop to get out the way, spyed 'her' treat bowl on the windowsill and launched herself at it knocking my favourite mug onto the floor in the process !- it was 8 yrs old that mug ! and now it's been broken by a chook ! the chooks have been given a stern talking to and shut back in the run and I'm drinking my tea from the 'boring' spare mug ! still, at least I can go shopping for another 'best ' mug now ! I know, it's silly isn't it ? If ever OH made my tea in the wrong mug, I would have to go pour it into MY mug before I could drink it , just wouldn't taste right otherwise

mrsm_jones
Tea never tastes right unless it's from YOUR cup does it? I have a cup with a pig on it and I'd really be quite vexed if anyone broke it! I even get a little anxious when someone else drinks from it!
