I love the smell of their heads

 

Im not weird honest

 

I have two polands and their head always smells like a mixture of chicken and flowers where they have been in the flowerbeds

How they all come running when I am trying to tie their cabbage onto the tree branch before they tuck in...their favourie food. The lovely noises my hens make when I am in the run with them cleaning and collecting their eggs. How Lucy flies up to the perches in the cube as I clean out the nest box.....watching to make sure I do it properly! How they sit under the cube on hot afternoons aubiose bathing and then having a seista.

In fact, I just have to look at my hens to say Ooooooh!

When Frock boks into a plastic measuring jug, can't quite believe her ears, looks at me then does it again to make sure.

The little cooing noises they make as they all settle down to sleep.

Frock sitting on my hand with her cold feet and little warm body.

Phillip who thinks he's 6ft tall and so proud with it.

Tallullah's determined little face as she pecks Numpty's foot, hard, then chases him out of her space. (Numpty = bat eared cat.)

 

All of them and everything they do make me go oooooh
