*mummy_hen*
ex-batt jumpers such as this one http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/kent/7228859.stm 3 of my girls are fine but am a nervous wreck with my 2 baldies as they just have no insultation yet insist they are as tough and fluffy as the others. Just as a short term measure thought i could try this, but no idea where i could get some from? No good at knitting, etc, so making them myself is out of the question! Egluntyne
They don't really need them *mummy hen*. The weather is warm enough at the moment, and there could be issues with them not being able to preen themselves properly. Also they would get dirty very quickly which could lead to problems with infection etc. The BHWT don't encourage their use. Best to let them feel the breeze ruffle their feathers, and experience they have been denied thus far.
Snowy
Plus their body temp is a couple of degrees warmer than ours so they don't feel the cold like we do! Maybe if it was frosty out they would benefit, but not at this time of year. Don't worry - they are tougher than they look!

*mummy_hen*
Thanks Snowy - i'm doing my best! They all seem really happy and now all 5 have mastered the ramp i can rest in peace they can be in or out at their own leisure. We do have 1 (little florence) that insists on jumping back out the house and not using the ramp to go down though
